Hi! Nice to meet you!
My name is Cécile Spanjers, and since October 2025 my partner Jip and I have been living in the beautiful village of Lliber on the Costa Blanca. I’m a real lover of good food, great wines and long, cozy dinners.
I started Ciel’s Table Tales in 2020, and in the past years I’ve had the joy of creating countless dinners, weddings and cooking workshops in the Netherlands. I also discovered that I’m happiest when I can cook outside, surrounded by nature. Spain feels like home, and I’m excited to continue cooking in this beautiful place.
Besides working as a private chef, I teach cooking workshops, work as a photographer and have many different hobbies. My dream for the future? A garden full of fresh vegetables, lots of fruit trees, our own olive oil, long tables in nature and creating special food experiences together, All without hurry. Times slows down here - A taste of slow living.
